Ebara RHSCW Series is a water-cooled chiller line utilizing high-efficiency twin-screw compression technology. The product is designed to meet stringent energy-saving standards (AHRI) and environmental protection requirements, suitable for both standard cooling needs and specialized thermal applications:
  • Capacity Range: 70 - 350 RT (Single Compressor) & 125 - 600 RT (Dual Compressors).
  • Semi-hermetic Twin-screw Compressor: Smooth operation with an exceptionally long bearing life (over 50,000 hours).
  • Capacity Control: Stepless regulation: 25% - 100% (Single) and 12.5% - 100% (Dual).
  • Leaving Chilled Water Temperature: +5°C to +15°C (Air-conditioning mode) & down to -7°C (Ice-storage/Glycol mode).
  • Energy Efficiency: Reaches 0.60 kW/ton at AHRI conditions, optimizing electricity costs.
  • Flooded Type Technology: Optimizes heat exchange and ensures precise water temperature control within ±0.1°C.
  • Smart Control System: Equipped with Siemens PLC and a 7-inch color touch screen; supports RSS 2.0 remote monitoring and BMS integration (Modbus RS485).

1. Screw Compressor Features

  • Twin-screw Design: Utilizes an asymmetrical 5:6 rotor profile, precision-machined by British and German CNC technology to ensure perfect meshing, minimize leakage, and enhance compression efficiency.

  • Semi-hermetic Motor: Cooled directly by liquid refrigerant, maintaining stable motor temperatures, extending lifespan, and eliminating the need for separate mechanical room cooling systems.

  • Heavy-duty Bearings: Uses premium bearings from renowned brands (NSK or SKF) reaching aerospace Class 5 standards, ensuring continuous operation for over 50,000 hours without major maintenance.

  • Stepless Capacity Control: A slide valve system allows flexible capacity adjustment from 25% to 100% (or from 12.5% for dual-compressor models), maintaining stable water temperatures and saving energy during part-load operation.

2. Heat Exchanger Features

  • Flooded Evaporator: The refrigerant completely covers the copper tubes, optimizing heat transfer efficiency compared to direct expansion types.

  • High-efficiency Copper Tubes: Tube surfaces feature external fins and internal micro-grooves to significantly increase the heat transfer coefficient.

  • Demister System: Integrated high-efficiency liquid separator inside the evaporator ensures only dry vapor enters the compressor, protecting it from liquid slugging.

3. Control & Monitoring

  • Siemens PLC & Touch Screen: Utilizes a Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) combined with a 7-inch color touch screen, providing a user-friendly and intuitive interface.

  • Precise Temperature Control: Achieves extremely low leaving water temperature fluctuations, within ±0.1°C.

  • Modbus Protocol Support: Ready for integration with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) via RS485 ports without the need for complex converters.

  • RSS 2.0 Smart Monitoring: Ebara's remote monitoring system allows tracking unit status via the Internet or mobile apps, with automatic fault alerts sent via Email.
